COVID-19 Update

The pandemic has altered in the short term and likely in the long term how we live and function as individuals and members of a greater society. Medicine has been affected perhaps more than any other discipline. All too many Americans have lost their lives and so many have suffered physically, emotionally, and economically.

Our goal as physicians is to provide the best care possible in the safest environment. Our pledge is to continue this time honored principle. We pledge to do our best.

As we emerge from this troubling and challenging time, we must remain vigilant and thoughtful. At present we request that all patients wear a mask when in the office. We request that patients provide proof of vaccination, for those vaccinated. Hand cleansers are available.

Covid has placed significant stress on the healthcare system and scheduling surgeries. Predeterminations from insurance companies are more protracted than in the past, operating room protocols ever evolving, and new questions emerging.

We will do our best to guide you through this process. As always, we appreciate your thoughtfulness and understanding. Please fell free to contact the office with any and all questions.

We anticipate better days, much better days, in the near future.

"Compassionate Care"

I am grateful for an amazing job he did on removing a dermoid cyst near my 18 month old baby's eye with such care and compassion from the very first appointment to the actual surgery. Outstanding professionalism is always appreciated but when it comes to trusting your baby's life to a doctor and his team (regardless of how big or small the operation is) you want to see care and compassion. Dr. Rand Rodgers definitely possess all these qualities.

"Professional and Helpful"

Excellent surgical experience.. Dr. Rodgers as well as his staff were extremely professional and helpful throughout the surgical process. I felt very confident at the time of consultation with Dr. Rodgers and that followed through before and after the surgical procedure. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rodgers and his expertise in eye surgery.

"Skilled Surgeon"

I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Rodgers. I have been thinking about having my eyes done for ten years. Dr. Rodgers was the reason why I booked without hesitation. His philosophy was in line with mine. I wanted someone to say to me that I looked well not that I had my eyes done. The procedure and office was professional and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I recommend Dr. Rodgers whole heartily.

Eyelid Swelling From Fillers

In the past few years the causes of eyelid swelling have expanded. Lid swelling may result from styes and chalazions-- which are lid margin infections and inflammatory reactions from occluded oil ducts respectively.

How Fillers Can Restore Lost Volume to Your Eyelids

Your eyes say a lot about you — and sometimes, they can say too much. If your eyelid areas are showing signs of aging, you might be looking a lot older than you feel. Here’s how fillers can restore your lids for a more youthful look.

Noncosmetic Reasons to Consider Eyelid Surgery

Plenty of people have eyelid surgery to help their eyes look younger, but surgery can also correct certain medical conditions. Here are three situations where eyelid surgery plays a critical role in improving eye health and vision.
