Cheek Lift

Lower eyelid surgery is often combined with a gentle elevation of the cheek. Midface lifts, often known as cheek lifts, are commonly performed under intravenous sedation. Through either a lower eyelid incision or a hairline incision, cheek lifts elevate sagging tissues creating a smoother transition from the eyelids to the lips. Malar bags and tear troughs can be lessened, and fullness and youth restored.

Recovery is generally several weeks, with lifting and bending allowed after the first seven days. Black and blue is the norm, and its duration is variable. Long-term care involves appropriate sun protection.
